Pecha Kucha :: Global Caribbean

I have recently recieved permission to host the Pecha Kucha in the Caribbean

Pecha Kucha (which is Japanese for the sound of conversation) has tapped into a demand for a forum in which creative work

Here is YOUR chance to tell the the world about YOUR design, YOUR thoughts, YOUR ideas

But as we all know, give a microphone to a designer (especially an architect) and you'll be trapped for hours. The key to Pecha Kucha Night is its patented system for avoiding this fate. Each presenter is allowed 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds each - giving 6 minutes 40 seconds of fame before the next presenter is up. This keeps presentations concise, the interest level up, and gives more people the chance to show. It doesn't hurt to serve drinks as well.

Pecha Kucha is a copyright of Klein-Dytham architects and is a not for profit organisation

World’s most interesting building projects <- their title not mine. Of those listed I perhaps only care about a 1/3 of them. The rest, particularly (what's left of) the Freedom Tower, is a rather attempt to disguise captalist ideals, at the loss of quality place making.
